Results

I have not been on here lately.  With a guy like me you could assume I have been out "having it my way at Burger King" or swimming in a pool full of BBQ sauce.  That is not the case at all.  I have been doing very well on the plan.  I have eaten reasonably each day and the workouts are going well.  The back still sucks but I have just accepted that for the time being.

Through the help of google I have become quite the skinless chicken breast chef.  I will go as far to say that they are delicious.  Who knew what you could do when you put just a little effort into something.  Hmmmm.

Today is results day.  I have been looking forward to it all week.  I jumped on the scale and I lost 7 pounds.  I am pretty happy to be honest with you.  I have adapted the attitude that reasonable solid weekly losses are the way to go.  Sure losing 20 pounds in a week like the TV fat dudes are doing would be nice.  But let's be honest, I am not working out 7 hours a day.  I do not have access to the things they do.  I am good at math and I know 5-7 pounds a week will get me where I need to go in a sensible amount of time.

I am happy to report that I am not having any soda any more.  I did not have a hard time abstaining.  I also am no longer having any kind of relationship with fast food either.  That is pretty obvious as it is one of my rules.  My point is I am not even thinking about it any more.  No desire. That is a big thing for me.

I will be somewhat sporadic with my posts until I get my computer fixed.  No estimate on when that will happen.  Six months ago I bought a Mac because they have a reputation for not crashing.  Ummmm, nice try.  Go figure.
